a breathtaking journey.....

it has meanings in both ways. the real breathtaking as in it was incredible. and also the literal meaning of taking my breath because it was also tiring as it took a whole day. but it was all worth it. i was really glad that i took this journey with my dearest friends: ilia, nadia & anne......

where did we go, u ask????

the royal sydney easter show!!!!

we woke up like 4.45am for prayers & getting ready and stuff. then we called the cab to pick us up and send us to the Broadmeadow train station.

it was a cold morning. we had to change train at Strathfield station to go to OLYMPIC PARK.... we arrived like 9.15am and the place was........FULL OF PEOPLE!!! we were thinking, 'did everybody sleep here last night or something???'......
we got our maps & started walking.....the place was huge, i tell u....

where did we run to 1st??????
THE SHOWBAGS HALL!!!!! hahahahahahaha.....ilia was to be blamed for this....
she told us about all these interesting showbags where you buy a showbag for a very low price and get like so many stuff in it which would cost a whole lot more if u buy them individually....
so i bought 3 showbags: Madison, Marykate & Ashley and also Lizzie McGuire (for dearest NINI...I LOVE YOU!!!) for only AUD30...
which would cost me a total of AUD200 if i buy the stuff individually.....hahahahaha
amazing isnt it???

then we took some crazy rides....1st we took the swing-like ride which swing u like SUPER FAST....hahahahahaha.....but that was just the little ride...we just took that ride to increase our adrenaline flow.......hahahahahahahha
then we took the real thing....i dont quite remember was the name...but it was SUPER SCARY!!! but also SUPER FUN!!!

we also entered the HAUNTED HOTEL...which was like....phewie....it was such a lame haunted hotel...there was nothing to scream about.....

then we took the CRAZY COASTER!!! and that was totally AWESOME!! honestly, i liked it more than the roller coaster....

at one point, my heart was racing tremendously fast that all i did was prayed to ALLAH in my heart for my safety.....alhamdulillah, my prayer is granted.....

after finishing our prayers, we went to the stadium for a few shows: TRUE BLUE SHOW (story about a courageous dog), MOTOR SHOW (fantastic!! my mouth was wide open due to amusement) and......the most wonderful show of all...........

FIREWORKS!!!!















we went back straight that night after the fireworks and arrived safely back in Newcastle around 1am.........

i was freakin' excited when the easter holiday started......woah!!!!! yiiippppiiiieeee!!! seriously jubilant!!! i joined my very loving-kind-understanding-hardworking-nice-pretty seniors for the autumn gathering....and........

YAAAAHHHHHOOOOOO!!!!!

that is the one word that can summarize it all.........
we went for an excursion to toboggan hillpark where we got to ride the toboggan like super fast!!!!
then we went to the sand dune for a super-tiring-but-super-duper-exciting-interesting-amazing-incredible SANDBOARDING!!!!!
though it was quite tiring climbing up the mountain of sand but it was all worth it when we get to slide down the hill with SUPER SPEED!!! hahahahahahahaha

the next day....it was SPORTS DAY!!! i was assigned in blue team (AZRAQ!!!)
bila AZRAQ, bila AZRAQ, bila AZRAQ masok padang,
orang lain terketar-ketar,
bila AZRAQ masok padang......

in the morning, we played tradisional games....don't get this wrong...but it wasn't the soft-ayu-like games such as batu seremban or congkak or anything like that.....
we played the rough games! baling selipar and galah panjang....it was such fun!!!
i didn't get to play baling selipar coz we have lots of members in a group, so we had to divide the games among us...but i got to play galah panjang...not to be proud of myself but i was the one that made our team won for galah panjang...hahahahaha..the secret??? be extra quite n just ran as fast as u can....doesn't sound like me does it???
in the evening, we got to play, NETBALL!!!!! it was great....i got to be GA (goal attacker)....
hahahahaha...got to shoot some points for my team....felt great!!! though covered in sweat but it was ALL GOOD!!!! we had lots of fun.....

coolness....

yesterday, after 2 months of no real exercise, i joined the sisters here in a match of netball. though the last time i played was like standard 6 back when i was light enough to jump high as to shoot the goal. but whatever. i still enjoyed the game. it seems that most of us don't know that much about netball either. as long as we all have the team spirit and determination, we try our best to enjoy the game & not to worry much about the competition. who cares about scores??? hahahahaha. who am i kidding. i care. not!!! but i really sweat. so, i was very satisfied.

today, woke up with a bad body ache. seriously, THE WHOLE BODY. from the netball game of course. showed that i really don't work up that much. whatever. this morning, it was my 1st time ever participating in the CIRCLE K activity. got lucky i guess. why?? haha. we went to Stockton Beach!!! we rode a 4 wheel drive, driven by da great Lance (love ya Lance!!). we went through the sand dune. and may i say. IT WAS AWESOME!!! the place look exactly like a desert. it felt as if we were in a different country. saudi arabia maybe. Lance drove us down a sand mountain which was like 2-STOREY HIGH!!! my heart stopped beating at one moment. hahahahahaha. but it was simply incredible. we also got to slide down while sitting on a 1-storey high sand mountain. once we reached down, i felt like sandman (coz my i was covered in sand). who cares about PH assignment?? who cares about all the muscles i'm supposed to memorise for HUBS??? why worry about all Working Problem research??? to hell with all that. {just at the moment though}

to summarize this whole weekend: it was total COOLNESS!!!

EARTH HOUR....

it was really interesting to know that such hour in a special day ever existed. i think this campaign is for a really good cause. at least each and everyone of us who are living in this beautiful planet with lots of blessing from Allah can contribute to mother earth. it might be just a little contribution but i truly feel that it can bring a great difference if everyone participate. i know we did, my housemates n me. it was a memorable experience frankly speaking. though all we did was eat and talk with candles n a colourful light (operate by batteries) in the living room. it made our neighbourhood to a halt for a moment n think about great gives we had from the earth. plus it's a great time to deepen my bonding with my fellow housemates. we had a great chat n delicious fried rice (thanx hani & ilia for cooking!). all i want to say is that, do whatever is in our force to help the earth if we ever want it to maintain it's 'well-being' for our children n grandchildren in the future. every deed is a good deed no matter big or small. Allah will repay any good doings from us. Insya-Allah. Amin....

Hip2x....HOORAY!!!

internet is successfully installed in my house starting from today onwards....i'm SUPER SUPER HAPPY & EXCITED!!! i mean after nearly 2 months of living here in newcastle, i'm going all crazy for not having to connect to outside world n contact with all my friends and family in Malaysia n elsewhere....i went bad by 'stealing' my neighbour's internet line (his fault though for not putting a security when connecting to the network)....hahahahahaha...conforting myself i guess.....all i can is, 'Get ready world!!! Ijat is back!!!'....
